COREED TSUNAMI OPERATIONS

Phase V       : Conducted two big  camps and provided  gifts & study material to 3,500 children and provided medicine to 3000 victims to avoid epedimics.

In the fifth phase we have gathered 3,500 children of tsunami victims under one roof to avoid delay and provided them with gifts and study material which were given by Samaran Purse USA. To this program the Founder of COREED Rev.Dr.Joseph Ravela and Suseelamma Joseph has attended and distributed the gifts to the children. 

Besides this we have also gathered 3,000 victims under one roof to avoid delay and conducted health camp with our team of professional doctors. Every one was examined and were provided medicines. We have taken up this work very seriously to see that we stop epidemics which can cause more serious damage to the victims. 

 IT IS NOT OVER… STILL THERE IS MORE TO DO …

• 3,548 CHILDREN LOST THEIR STUDY MATERIAL AND THEY NEED TEXT BOOKS, NOTE BOOKS, SLATES AND PENS

• 68 CHILDREN BECAME ORPHANS YOU CAN SUPPORT THEM IF YOU LIKE

• 22 WOMEN LOST THEIR HUSBAND AND BECAME WIDOWS YOU CAN HELP THEM IF YOU LIKE

• 2,640 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVELY HOOD AS THY LOST WORKING TOOLS SUCH AS NETS, BOATS AND AGRICULTURAL TOOLS 
  ( to earn their daily bread) THEY NEED REHABILITATION

• 263 SHELTERS HAS TO BE RESTORED TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION TO 263 COMBINED FAMILIES IN 6 VILLAGES
